In true Leo fashion, today’s solar eclipse arrives with an almost absurd amount of celestial drama.

The Perseid meteor shower is peaking.

Six planets are lining up across the sky.

And astrologically, the kite configuration we saw during Lion’s Gate on August 8 is still with us.

Except now... there are two kites.

A rare and powerful configuration.

So if one kite is a kite... Should we call two kites WINGS?!…. I think so. ;)

And both of these “wings” are built on the same grand trine:

Venus in Libra
Uranus in Gemini
Pluto in Aquarius

There’s a rather delightful irony here, because the Greek hero associated with the Perseid meteor shower — Perseus — eventually ends up flying in his myth.

But as with all good myths, the lesson is in the journey.

And what’s even more fascinating than the celestial drama of August 12 is what these astrological shifts may mean for the year ahead.

This eclipse cycle extends well beyond the typical six-month eclipse window, carrying its story forward into August 2027.

And in my newest video, I explore why this next year may not be about simply figuring out what you want.

It may be about discovering why you want it.

Because underneath our desires are deeper questions about identity, belonging, visibility, intuition, sovereignty, and — perhaps most importantly — how we relate to our own power.

There are plenty of astrologers talking about how this eclipse season may shift power dynamics in the collective.

But I want to explore something more personal: What does power mean inside of you?

What happens when the part of you that acts, directs, and creates learns to work in relationship with the part of you that must soften, listen, and become receptive?

In other words:

the sacred masculine and sacred feminine within each of us.

And I believe there is one thing that can unify them

That allows you to act without force.

With this one thing You can listen. You can discern. You can receive.

You can move forward even when you can't see the entire path.

And perhaps that is the rudder we'll need for this hero's hang-gliding journey we're all embarking on together over the next year.
